Job Summary

You don’t need to be a superhero, but some technical know-how would be awesome. If you know your way around facilities and have a knack for keeping things in order, you’re the one we’re looking for.

  • Keep our Truck and Parts Display Centre looking sharp and in line with PACCAR’s global standards.
  • Make sure the trucks and parts are organized and ready to impress anyone who walks in.

Job Responsibilities

  • Keep the workshop area well-organized and assess and retrieve hardware systematically for comparative analysis.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing and Engineering teams to schedule and plan benchmarking and teardown analyses.
  • Adhere to established safety policies, be vigilant for potential safety hazards in your work and that of others. Maintain a highly organized lab, workshop, and storage spaces.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager and Global Safety to ensure local safety procedures align with global standards.
  • Disassemble vehicle systems for benchmarking, sticking to project schedules and ensuring proper setup to meet project goals.
  • Arrange components on layout boards for product reviews and collaborative idea generation workshops across functions.
  • Ensure the display center is orderly, following housekeeping guidelines.
  • Clean and maintain truck parts appropriately.
  • Establish partnerships with external local authorities to coordinate deliveries of trucks and parts as needed.

Qualifications/Skills

  • CAD information and skill is important factor for this job
  • Mechanical & Electrical system knowledge is important

  • Must be able to lift 15-20kg by following lift procedure.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required
