Your Role: ServiceNow Developer Consultant
As a ServiceNow Developer Consultant, you will be at the forefront of managing production tasks, including ServiceNow Application maintenance and version upgrades. Your responsibilities will span coordinating upgrades, testing, and evaluation, as well as performing day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your working knowledge of all aspects of ServiceNow Applications development.
- Actively participate in solution discussions and contribute to user story creation.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Business Analysts, Architects, and Technical Leads.
- Code and configure technical solutions based on requirements.
- Conduct unit testing and resolve identified defects.
- Develop features, bug fixes, and craft various server-side and client-side scripts.
- Implement ServiceNow integrations using Spokes and custom APIs with external tools.
- Manage production support tasks, including maintenance and version upgrades.
- Work with a remote team, demonstrating excellent communication skills via phone and email.
- Stay updated with new capabilities of the ServiceNow Platform.
- Ensure the integrity of the ServiceNow platform across the organization.
- Assist in troubleshooting efforts and monitor patch/release issues.
Qualifications We Seek in You:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) in ServiceNow.
- Understanding of Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
- Experience in administering the Now Platform.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java scripting, debugging, and deployment using update sets.
- Proficiency in working with various ServiceNow components like Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, API’s, and Service Portal.
- Web Services integration experience, particularly REST.
- IT Graduate.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Certified SNOW Application Developer (MCAD).
