Location/Division Specific Information:

The Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) delivers a diverse range of analytical instruments and services to markets such as Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Mining, Life Science Manufacturing, and Recycling. Our instruments are used in challenging environments, emphasizing robustness, reliability, and ease of use. As a global and complex division, CAD offers a broad product portfolio and serves a diverse customer base.

Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Position, Entry-Level, is crucial to our organization. The role involves contributing to the design, documentation, and coordination of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will handle tasks related to customer orders, ensuring on-time delivery, and collaborating with internal teams. Proficiency in various software tools and a focus on design optimization are key requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptual Design and System Fulfillment:
    • Develop systems to meet customer requirements.
    • Generate documentation based on customer inquiries.
  2. Technical Proficiency:
    • Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, and Excel for formatting and documentation.
  3. Customer Approval and Communication:
    • Obtain customer approval on drawings and documents.
    • Willingness to travel to customer locations when necessary.
  4. Bill of Material Preparation:
    • Prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement.
    • Create manufacturing drawings and specifications for components.
  5. Design Optimization:
    • Focus on optimizing designs for efficiency.
  6. On-Time Delivery (OTD):
    • Ensure on-time delivery as a critical performance metric.
  7. Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including Supply Chain Management, production, and quality assurance.
  8. Documentation and Audits:
    • Assist in preparing final documentation for approval.
    • Address Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) during audits.
  9. SAP Knowledge:
    • Use SAP systems for various tasks related to the role.
  10. Claims and Concessions:
    • Support project management by providing necessary documents for registering claims and concessions.
