Job Overview : Database Administrator
We’re looking for a full-time EBS Database Administrator to join our team in Mumbai. As the go-to person for all things Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) database-related, you’ll be in charge of tasks like backups, performance tuning, applying patches, and ensuring security measures are up to snuff. Your job involves collaborating with different teams to understand business needs and finding the right database solutions. You’ll also team up with the developers to roll out upgrades and patches.
What We’re Looking For
We need someone with a knack for handling urgent issues and incidents, and who’s familiar with scheduler tools like AutoSys/cron jobs. You should be on top of timelines, communication, and escalations, and quickly get the hang of business functions and processes. If you’ve got a solid background in supporting Oracle Apps EBS R12 modules like AP, FA, PM, and GL, that’s a big plus.
Your Skills
You should be a pro at SOL and PL/SOL development and troubleshooting. Knowing your way around the ITIL Process framework and P2P application basics is important too. Understanding SOA, OFA, reporting tools, and having a strong grasp of Oracle database and tables for the specified modules is key. If you’re familiar with form personalization, reports, views, packages, XML publisher reports, oracle workflow, and interface development – that’s fantastic.
