Job Title: Junior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Pune, India
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engineering and a strong background in 3D modeling, assembly, 2D drawing using NX, and executing Engineering Change Notices/Bill of Material. Additionally, the candidate should have a good understanding of manufacturing processes like sheet metal and casting component design, as well as knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or cross-functional team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Proficiency in 3D Modeling, Assembly, and 2D Drawing using NX
Execution of Engineering Change Notices/Bill of Material
Understanding of Manufacturing Processes such as Sheet Metal and Casting Component Design
Knowledge of GD&T, Tolerance Analysis
Ability to work independently or in a team/cross-functional team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Teamcenter
Good understanding of basic GD&T
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Systematic approach to problem-solving
Ability to perform fundamental engineering theoretical calculations
Understanding of project management principles
Desired Skills:
Exposure to New Product Development of Rotating Equipment, preferably Compressor Design
Experience or knowledge of HVAC systems is preferable
Familiarity with Engineering Tools such as DFMA/DFMEA
Knowledge of Teamcenter is an added advantage
Education and Experience Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
