Position Overview
As the Operations Lead for Amazon Fresh, you will manage daily end-to-end operations within our fulfillment centers. You will be responsible for supervising and motivating your team, ensuring they are well-trained and supported to meet Amazon’s high standards in productivity, quality, and safety. In this role, you will also partner with third-party delivery providers to guarantee service excellence in line with Amazon contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations Management:
- Oversee outbound operations across one large site or multiple smaller sites.
- Ensure customer-facing metrics are met while maintaining cost targets and high safety standards.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Motivate, coach, and provide performance feedback to associates.
- Implement and monitor training programs and development plans.
- Process Improvement & Auditing:
- Continuously drive improvements in delivery processes.
- Conduct daily 4M and 5S audits at the delivery station.
- Operational Flexibility:
- Stand in for the Area Manager when required.
- Manage shifts effectively throughout the day to ensure smooth operations.
- Disciplinary Oversight:
- Address performance issues and enforce Amazon policies, including attendance tracking and other key protocols.
Basic Qualifications
- Industry Experience:
- Minimum 1+ years in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Communication Skills:
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enhanced Experience:
- 2+ years in a customer-facing role, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
