Job Overview
As a Quality Specialist in our manufacturing division, you will ensure that every product meets Caterpillar’s high quality standards. You will conduct inspections, analyze data, and work closely with our teams to address and resolve quality issues.
What You Will Do
- Perform Inspections & Audits:
- Conduct advanced measurements, inspections, and process audits.
- Analyze and report on materials, processes, and products.
- Manage Quality Data:
- Gather, analyze, and communicate non-conformance data.
- Maintain quality system documentation and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Support Audits & Corrective Actions:
- Offer technical support during internal and external audits.
- Follow up on corrective actions to prevent future issues.
- Collaborate & Problem Solve:
- Work with manufacturing teams to identify the root cause of quality issues.
- Implement changes and preventive actions using known tools like root cause analysis (RCA).
Education and Experience
- Degree Requirement:
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience is desired.
- Experience Matters:
- Practical knowledge in quality management methods and manufacturing processes is a plus.
