JOB SUMMARY:
As an Electrician Technician at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, your job is to keep things running smoothly. You’ll fix things when guests report issues, make sure tools and equipment are in good shape, and take care of basic repairs. You’ll also help with painting, handle some computer tasks, and make sure everything is clean and working well.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Quickly respond to guest requests for repairs and sort out any problems.
- Keep tools and kitchen equipment clean and working properly.
- Look at tools and equipment to make sure they’re in good condition, and fix them if needed.
- Know where and how to turn off valves for equipment and buildings.
- Keep track of what tools and parts are needed and ask for them when necessary.
- Talk to the team about what happened during your shift and any issues that came up.
- Learn about things like air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems to be more helpful.
- Do painting and small repairs like fixing walls or changing light bulbs.
- Test and fix basic problems with equipment, plumbing, and electrical stuff.
- Program TVs and help with general cleaning and organizing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Finished high school or have a similar qualification; it’s a bonus if you have some training in electrical work.
- Worked as an electrician or in a similar job before.
- Know a bit about things like air conditioning, plumbing, and fixing stuff.
- Good at figuring out problems and finding solutions.
- Can talk easily with guests and your team.
- Know some basic computer stuff for the tasks you’ll be doing.
